Anna Nygren is a writer and playwright from Sweden and recently they started translating in a kind of special, weird, poetic way. They have written seven books; their first novel HUNGER was published in 2020 and their latest poetry-novel is NATHALIE, 2023. In 2022, they translated Hannah Emerson’s poems to Swedish. They are an autistic lesbian non-binary cat-person growing up in a rural space next to a paper factory now living with their cat and their textile projects.
